An experienced office administrator is required to join their expanding, specialist company. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced administrator looking to work in an enjoyable and dynamic environment as part of good team. Reporting to and working with the Office Manager this role would suit a professional office administrator who has excellent organisational and interpersonal skills allied to a proven track record in successfully working in a busy and often reactive office environment.

Role and responsibilities

Your duties will include the following:

- Being first point of contact for incoming calls and communications.
- Ensuring works are booked in and managed to agreed client SLAs from initial call to completion and in line with company procedures.
- Making sure clients and customers are kept informed on the progress of the works and manage their expectations in respect of timescales etc.
- Updating and recording all the relevant details on dynamic in-house software.
- Effectively communicating with customers, clients, engineers and staff to ensure good working relationships are maintained.
- Handling queries and complaints in a timely manner, escalating in accordance with company procedures.

Skills/experience required

To be considered for this role you will need to have proven experience within a customer service environment (face to face or telephone based), good administrative, organisational and communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to enjoy a varied and sometimes demanding role as part of an efficient, friendly and professional team.

Experience in a role where you have been scheduling engineers is highly desirable but not essential.

You will need to be proficient with Microsoft Office software as well as an ability to learn new software (training provided) with a minimum of GCSE grades C or above (or equivalent) in Maths and English.

This role is ideally a full time role based out of their Head Office in Staplehurst but a flexible working week may also be available for the right candidate.

Hours: Full time/Flexible position 8.00-17.00 Monday to Friday

Remuneration: Min £18-22k
