They have an exciting opportunity for a Business Skills Tutor based at their Derby City Training Centre. This is a full time role, with some travel within the East Midlands, a driving licence and access to a car is therefore essential.
The Role
You will be working with learners distanced from employment, teaching through a mixture of group learning, one-to-one sessions and via e-learning platforms in subjects such as Business Administration, Customer Service, IT, Hospitality and Employability. You will be effectively managing and progressing learners with varying levels of ability, to progress onto apprenticeships and ultimately employment.
The Individual
They really value your industry knowledge, competence and experience, so although holding a relevant teaching qualification (Cert Ed or equivalent) would be great, full training and support will be provided if you have a real passion for sharing your knowledge, learning and developing others.
You will be an effective communicator, able to provide the highest standards of customer service to successfully engage learners. An excellent planner, you will be able to manage your time effectively as well as conflicting priorities. You will have the ability to coach, develop and mentor people with the ability to manage difficult situations calmly.
