This company has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and commercially focused Business Manager to join their senior team. Your primary objective is to drive profitability and efficiencies across the business, working at a strategic level to support and advise the Board.
With specific responsibilities encompassing strategy, finance, wellbeing, client relationships, facilities and quality, you will demonstrate an organised and tenacious approach to delivering results across all areas.
You will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience delivering a support function within a commercial office environment and will have strong financial acumen and book-keeping skills. You will have excellent communication skills and will be a natural trouble-shooter, able to take ownership of issues and utilise the skills of others to secure effective solutions. A positive ‘can-do’ mind set combined with high levels of credibility will ensure you can quickly establish yourself in this leadership role.
Key Objectives
- To develop and maintain business efficiency and profitability, sharing information and taking the lead in promoting a business focus throughout the team.
- To work with the Board to streamline the business as required, using knowledge of workflow, sticking points and over/under utilisation of resources to inform decision making.
- To ensure the wellbeing of all staff members, implementing initiatives to support wellbeing across the business and advising management on appropriate actions to achieve this aim.
- To ensure the office is adhering to policies and procedures, providing advice, guidance and training on this as necessary to ensure a consistent approach is achieved and maintained.
