This company is looking for a Business Intelligence Developer to design, deliver and support the organisation's Business Intelligence Solutions.
Key Tasks and Accountabilities:
- Estimate, plan, design, develop and support Business Intelligence solutions to agreed specifications and timescales
- Create one-off reports
- Documentation of both new and existing functionality
- Maintain existing reports
- Day-to-day monitoring and support of the batch data imports and data cube refreshes
- Work with the development team on designing and developing new data imports from the main ERP system
- Provide input to the company’s Business Intelligence strategy
- Plan and continually develop, a scalable, fit for purpose data warehouse and ETL design.
Knowledge and aptitudes required:
- Expert knowledge of SQL Server queries, SQL Server Reporting Services(SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services(SSIS)
- Experience of building both Tabular and Multi-Dimensional Analysis Services cubes
- Experience of creating dashboards utilising Power BI or similar is desirable
- Experience of Excel Services and SharePoint 2013 desirable
- Strong, demonstratable skills in database concepts, data warehouse design and able to translate data models into appropriate database schemas
- BI experience in a Manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
