In this job you will be using the functionality and benefits of this really cool software, to support a number of energy sector clients. You will work with them as an integral part of their own operational teams, utilising sophisticated applications to maximise their business efficiencies. This involves identifying and resolving complex energy data problems and process inefficiencies that will directly impact the client’s bottom line. Don't worry though, if you are not energy savvy then all of this is teachable, if you are a good learner.

What will you do day to day?
- Work with the client’s settlements, billing and other internal process teams to identify data anomalies across the energy data spectrum.
- Liaise with operational teams to understand business as usual practices and the root cause of any internal inefficiencies.
- Deliver client Management Information reports driving the operational team’s activity across the business that ensure greater productivity and improved success.
- Provide client training on the software, helping operational teams to understand the companies value proposition and data management approach.

What sort of technical skills are valuable in this role?
- Essential: MS-Office savvy – especially Excel
- They really value basic to intermediate level SQL skills. This would push your application up the list of must-see candidates
- Energy sector experience is also a massive advantage, but not essential.
- A specific working knowledge of energy settlement and billing functions would also be helpful, but not essential.

What will your personal aptitudes be?
- Analytical. You will be data led, logical and rigorous. Used to using data to search for patterns, connections and the interactions between data items.
- Adaptable. You will be responsive and adapt to meet client requirements and any problems that arise.
- Communicator. You will be able to bring the companies software offer to life, using product demonstrations and examples of analysis and problem resolution to inform others and get people on board.
- Problem Solver. You will love to tackle problems. You will be energised by the challenges presented by complex energy data issues and enjoy taking responsibility for identifying the undermining factors.
