The Role

An ethical, fast-growing recycling and resource management company with a team of exceptional people, This company is looking for a confident individual to join our Office Services team. Join them, during an exciting period of change and growth, and play an integral part in promoting their brand and products.

As their Business Development Trainee, you will benefit for a rigorous training programme which will give you the skills you need to target, develop and convert opportunities into sales.

The role will see you making appointments and solution selling over the phone, face to face meetings, as well as attending industry events. They are looking for confident, engaging individuals with the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders. Are you up for the challenge?

Key Responsibilities

- Selling their office services products to ensure you achieve and exceed agreed sales targets
- Working closely with clients to ensure they understand the breadth of services they can offer and are taking advantage of all of them
- Processing sales enquiries
- Making appointments and preparing quotations and upselling additional services
- Report activity within CRM

The Person

As a Business Development Trainee you will have;

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to adapt your approach and style to appeal to a range of people
- Great listening skills with the aptitude to understand and take on board the issues potential customers face and present them with the correct solution
- A real hunger to build a career in sales
- Confidence when meeting new people and forming relationships.
- Ability to be highly autonomous and self-motivated with a genuine passion to aim high and achieve the best results
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft suite, with advanced knowledge of excel being a bonus
