Are you looking for a secure role with an expanding company offering structured training, career progression and excellent bonus scheme?

This Buckingham based Industrial Technology company requires a Technical Sales Manager to be responsible for driving new business, and generating and exceeding sales targets. You will also demonstrate equipment and occasionally commission products after installation whilst closely supporting the Management team in achieving the company’s strategic goals.

Focusing on a variety of markets, you will work with a customer base that includes manufacturers, merchants and contractors, and be responsible for new business and key account management.

Within this role you will be part of the sales team, initially spending more time in the office as you develop your knowledge of our large product range and customer base and with time, progressing into a more customer facing role, managing business development.

- Deal with small through to major enquiries and prepare quotations & contract proposals
- Follow up enquiries by phone, e-mail and site visit
- Attend exhibitions and trade shows where necessary
- Offer technical support by phone/e-mail or site visit where required, to support products in the field
- Become familiar with our , measurement instrumentation and sensor software packages

Description:

The company distributes flow meters, environmental monitoring equipment, level, pressure & temperature sensors as well telemetry solutions

These products are sold across all industries through various channels to market as well as being exported. The company has a strong internal sales team and effective marketing function.

Applicant:

Candidates should be hands on and ideally be qualified to degree/HND level in an engineering / electronics discipline with at least two years of experience working in a semi field-based technical sales role with experience of site visits and basic electro-mechanical knowledge.

Candidates must also be able to demonstrate a basic understanding of instrumentation technologies and must possess a proven track record of sales growth.

Those with experience working with any of the following types of products will be of particular interest: instrumentation / flow meters / utility meters, process sensors and analysers

This role is commutable from Milton Keynes, Aylesbury, Oxford, Banbury, Northampton and surrounding areas.
