As part of an exciting period of expansion, they are looking to add a Business Development Manager to their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The role:
- Shadowing the Chief Sales Officer to understand the sales process and company products and propositions.
- Working with existing customers and key accounts.
- Working on RfPs and Proposals/Pitches.
- Generating your own opportunities via your existing network, social selling, and direct outbound activities (including cold calling).
- Working with business development and marketing teams to create and implement outbound strategies.
- Carrying out customer needs analysis: understanding their potential requirements and providing product demonstrations when appropriate.
- Willing and able to work to a sales target.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous
- A degree is beneficial - but not a must for this role
- A background in e-learning/L&D/training or an understanding of the industry is useful
- Exposure to an agency/in-house marketing environment
- Social Media Native: experienced with Twitter/LinkedIn/Instagram
- Understanding of outstanding customer service
- Able to act autonomously, manage workload efficiently and show tangible results
- Someone who is focused, confident and agile in their ways of working
