Business Development Manager

This company, based in its HQ in Aldershot, Hampshire, provides its customers with access to the latest security solutions. their services include Static Guarding, Mobile Security Patrols, Key Holding and Emergency Response, CCTV Remote Monitoring, VIP Protection, and Locking and Unlocking of premises.

They are also specialists in the design, installation, commissioning and servicing of intruder Alarms, Wireless Security Systems, Fire Detection Systems, CCTV, Access Control and Automatic Gates across Hampshire, Surrey, Thames Valley, London and the Home Counties.

Job Description
They are currently seeking a talented Business Development Manager with excellent technical knowledge to drive forward new business within the fields of Electronic & Manned Security Systems & Services.
Area: Hampshire, Surrey & surrounding areas.

You will already have worked and sold within the NSI or SIA marketplace and therefore have experience of selling security products and services. You will be well organised, self-motivated, professional, articulate and possess a full Driving Licence.

What will the Role involve?
The objective of this role is to prospect and generate new business sales from target accounts, customers and market segments to further develop the client base.

The role will entail:

- Identifying and securing the required new business in order to achieve and exceed agreed sales targets - this business will be self-generated through a mix of cold calling, site visits, networking and pre-arranged appointments.

- Responding and tracking effectively all allocated sales leads and prospects.

- Providing and maintaining accurate forecasts, pipeline/quote bank and sales status reports as required.

- Working closely with customers by demonstrating a technical consultative sales style in order to maintain long term relationships, ensure effective customer service and generate ongoing sales revenue.

Required Experience
They are seeking a proven Business Developer with strong track record of sales success within the NSI or SIA sector as well as possessing a level of understanding of current standards.

They welcome applications from talented Sales Professionals, Sales Executives, Sales Consultants, Sales Managers, Business Development Managers, Sales Engineers, Sales Developers, Regional and Area Business Development or Sales Managers with a technical knowledge of the above requirements.
