This is an opportunity to join a creative technology company specialising in innovative interactive systems and touch screen applications. They design problem-solving solutions for a range of sectors including Museum & Heritage, Education, Retail and Public Sector. They use emerging technologies to create engaging, immersive experiences and self-service products such as:
- Visitor Management System for Education, Corporate, Manufacturing & Construction
- Interactive applications for Retail and Museum & Heritage
- Video Walls, Interactive Displays & Kiosks

With a truly global and growing customer base, serviced from their UK HQ and through their international partner network in the Middle East, Asia and the USA, a new position has been created to focus on new business sales.

Reporting directly to the Director, this role envelops:
Duties:
- Research and target new accounts in pre-defined market sectors
- Execute a range of outbound activities to generate new business opportunities
- Identify new opportunities with existing clients, grow customer lifetime value and generate referrals
- Take ownership of marketing generated leads and progress them to opportunities
- Provide online/video demonstrations to clients and tailored proposals
- Negotiate and push for closures on deals
- Assist with events & exhibitions
- Able to provide accurate sales forecast and achieve targets while maintaining a robust pipeline
- Co-ordinate with their marketing team for quarterly campaigns
- Handover closed deals to technical team and co-ordinate the agreed terms
- Work with and grow partner network with ongoing partner recruitment to extend reach
- Social media engagement, sharing company content and contributing to industry hot topics
- Introduce new sales strategies and promotions to drive closures

Must haves:
- Good telephone manner and a strong communicator
- Ability to confidently qualify opportunities, persistently follow-up and negotiate with prospects
- Self-motivated, outgoing, willing to adapt and with a positive outlook
- Good experience of seeking out new prospects and farming existing accounts
- Performance-driven and target-focused with experience in sales environment
- Consistent history in achieving sales forecasts
- Experience of face to face selling
- Excellent written and spoken English
- IT literate - Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Keen interest in digital technology
- Clean driving license
- Experience with CRM systems/sales platforms

Nice to haves:
- Knowledge of IT/Solution selling
- Sales Experience in the following B2B sectors: Education, Retail or Corporate

With a 24K salary and bonus scheme for meeting quarterly sales targets, this role comes with a competitive salary of 40K OTE.
