Due to ongoing growth, this IT Services company is looking for a business development manager to join their sales team based in Manchester.

They are one of the highest accredited IT Asset Disposition and Refurbished IT Hardware suppliers.

They offer a competitive salary with uncapped commission (40K OTE )

They are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to develop, manage and implement an effective sales strategy, and take the company to the next level.

The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with new clients.

Responsibilities

- Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
- Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
- Promote their products and services
- Prepare sales contracts ensuring compliance with GDPR legislation
- Use CRM systems to record sales, revenue, invoices etc.
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
- Liaise with the marketing department to maximise best-practise, lead generation techniques

Requirements

- Proven working experience as a Business Development Manager
- Proven sales track record
- Experience in IT/telecoms support is advantageous
- Market knowledge
- Communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build rapport
- Time management and planning skills

Desirable
- Experience preferably in similar IT/Technology industries.
- Existing Enterprise level relationships.
- Understanding of IT Asset disposal or similar services market.
