Electricals for Business
This company supplies electrical products to businesses of all kinds. Business is good and growing, they are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to join their existing team in their soon to be relocated Leicester branch as part of their continued company expansion.
Their customers are diverse and include builders, appliance repairers, electrical wholesalers, care homes, hotels, holiday parks and all other business sectors in between. With a full range of white goods and brown goods at their disposal (they always carry £15m in company stock). Their transactional web site allows customers to order 24h and the branch’s own stock will allow regular items to be collected during business hours or supplied quickly by their branch delivery van.
The Business Development Manager in a branch is responsible for proactively developing relationships with existing customers, visiting customers, winning new business, reaching and exceeding KPI targets set, supporting encouraging and working alongside the existing team and helping out around the branch. It's very hands on, leading by example.

- Previous experience with B2B development and customer or key account management
- Driven, a proven track record in sales at various levels
- Proactive, skilled at making contact, visiting and bringing on prospective new customers
- Sound managerial experience
- Organised, personable, well presented with a positive can-do attitude
- IT skills (MS Word, MS Excel)
- Driving licence
- Flexible
This is a full time permanent role based the new Leicester branch location, towards the south west area of the city and has great access to the motorways, situated just off the M1 & M69 junction.
