The company is an ambitious business, providing training solutions and workforce development consultancy to employers across the East Midlands. They have a number of exciting opportunities for individuals who are highly motivated, with a proven track record within a target driven environment. Their Business Development Managers are full time, permanent roles, pivotal to the ambitious growth plans to help local employers utilise their apprenticeship levy to its full potential. The roles will be working with businesses within the East Midlands, therefore full driving licence and access to a car is essential. Basic salary offered is up to £30,000 with uncapped OTE potential.

You will be engaging and working in partnership with employers, advising on the Apprenticeship Levy and the transition from frameworks to standards, as well as conducting organisational needs analysis with employers to devise effective training and recruitment plans.

You will be proactively promoting the Company's recruitment, training and development programmes through identifying, engaging and securing new business via outbound sales calls, networking, presentations and face to face meetings. You will maintain effective relationships with internal colleagues to ensure services are delivered to an excellent standard that will maximise opportunities to be provide added value programmes and services.

You need to be self managing and highly motivated with an ability to secure new employer clients through a variety of new business development approaches, including; cold calls, meetings, presentations and events. Experience of working in a similar role is essential as is knowledge of the apprenticeship reforms.

A team player, you will work in collaboration with colleagues across the business to support the ongoing development of the brand and reputation locally, regionally and nationally with emphasis on their promoting their apprenticeship offer.

They have thriving centres in Beeston, Nottingham, Mansfield, Retford and Derby. Growth plans to increase the number of businesses we work with to drive turnover to £10m in two years. They are looking for people with a passion for learning, skills and development to help us achieve these goals.
