An ambitious, multi-award winning and nationally recognised search marketing agency with an excellent reputation are currently recruiting for a new Business Development Manager to join their expanding team.

This role will ideally suit someone from an agency digital sales background and offers a flexible working environment as well as progression and development. The role will be field-based with travel expected to businesses in and around London and Greater London.

Your responsibilities will be to build your own pipeline of ongoing leads to develop sales of corporate and ecommerce websites, apps, SEO (search engine optimisation), Social Media Advertising and PPC (pay per click management).

Basic salary is 25k - 30k dependent on experience. Realistic 1st year OTE 40-50k, 2nd year once pipeline builds 50-60k - however this can be smashed if exceeding targets.

Business Development Manager Duties Include:

- Proactively developing own sales pipeline to promote the benefits of digital marketing and convert new business into the company.
- Handling inbound enquiries, and also contacting new prospective clients against targets to establish a positive rapport and convert into new opportunities.
- Reporting on weekly progress to Sales Director.
- Networking in your area.
- Working with established clients, ensuring repeat business and identifying up selling opportunities.
- Attending client meetings when required along with Campaign Account Manager.

Skills Required:

- Solid and proven sales experience backed up by results.
- Experience within a similar role in the agency marketing space (desired, but not essential).
- Interest and knowledge of digital marketing, the trends, methods and emerging technologies.
- Have self-motivation and the desire to exceed set targets and objectives.
- Dynamic, driven individual with great people skills.
- Superb communication skills, both verbally and written.
- Have a strong and well established network to bring to the role.
