About the role
They are currently looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to join their team based in Leicestershire. You’ll be based in the East Midlands but will work across the wider midlands as required (Birmingham to Cambridgeshire).

Responsibilities:
- Generate new sales opportunities daily by telephone, email and networking
- Attend meetings with clients to maximise sales opportunities for the client
- Upsell the portfolio of new products to the existing customer base
- Working to challenging, achievable targets
- Complete weekly sales reports
- Accurately update CRM with correspondence relevant to the sales opportunity
- Manage sales diary and promote effective diary management
- Respond to incoming leads and referrals in line with company sales process

About you
You’ll ideally come from an IT, Telecoms or security background and will possess excellent oral and written communication skills and articulate your points in meetings and negotiations well. In addition to this you will, of course, have an excellent sales background with high levels of conversions and the ability to form and maintain long lasting business relationships. You’ll also have excellent problem-solving skills and can prove your ability to work self-sufficiently and also as part of an already successful team. You’ll also be keen to learn and able to pick up a base level of technical knowledge to enable you to sell successfully in this sector. You’ll also have a full UK driving license.

What’s on offer:
They are offering a starting salary of £24,000, with realistic on target earnings of £40-£45,000 per anum. They’ll also provide a car allowance, birthday holiday entitlement as well as a company bonus scheme. An immediate start is available.
