The role of Business Development Manager - Employability (Salary £25,000 to £30,000 + OTE, depending on skills and experience) is pivotal to their growth plans and will see you engaging and working in partnership with employers to discuss their recruitment needs, liaising with internal stakeholders to set up Sector Based Work Academies across their training centres across the East Midlands & South Yorkshire. Creating proposals in line with employer requirements, you will be providing interview feedback and completing reviews with employers to ensure we are exceeding expectations.

You will be proactively promoting their recruitment, training and development programmes through identifying, engaging and securing new business via outbound sales calls, networking, presentations and face to face meetings. You will maintain effective relationships with internal colleagues to ensure services are delivered to an excellent standard that will maximise opportunities to provide added value programmes and services.

You will need to be self managing and highly motivated with an ability to secure new employer clients through a variety of new business development approaches, including; cold calls, meetings, presentations and events.
Experience of working in a similar role is essential as identifying effective workforce training solutions that address an employer’s current and future business needs will be crucial to your success. Knowledge and experience of Sector Based Work Academies and the Welfare to Work sector is highly advantageous, with an emphasis on planning delivery to ensure we maximise our potential classroom delivery model within our Centres.

You will need to be able to demonstrate sales activity and be able to work with employers to identify and plan for their recruitment needs in the future which will enable Centre Managers to maximize classroom based delivery.
