This company is a a leading demolition and deconstruction specialist based in Enfield and are currently looking for a Business Development Manager to cover London and the South East.
The role reports into the Managing Director and has a close working relationship with the senior management team.
This position will suit a tenacious BDM with flexible working, some of of the working week can be done from home, office or client visits. As they have grown rapidly in recent years the right candidate will be able to put their stamp on this new position.
This role will have a major impact on the success of the business.
About the Role:
- Build a pipeline of quality leads and convert these through all stages of the procurement process through to an order being placed.
- Build relationships at a senior level within new clients and be the main contact throughout the development phases of the demolition tender process.
- Develop a understanding client’s business needs and pipeline so we can position the company successfully
- Prepare reports/forecasts and meetings with the senior management team ensuring that everyone is aware of new projects, targets and budgets.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, intermediaries and suppliers thereby enhancing GLDs market presence with clients
- Ensure that all accreditations and social media presence is maintained and updated
About the Candidate:
- Proven record in achieving & securing tender enquiries to targeted levels
- Ability to sell the company to be recognised with new clients joining their supply chain
- Responsible for following up leads and setting up regular client meetings
- Add and update all the marketing materials and maintain industry accreditations
- Talent for building and nurturing relationships with key contacts within the industry
- Strong presentation skills and ability to put together PowerPoint presentations
- Continuously improve and research market information to possess a good sector knowledge
- Knowledge of the demolition / deconstruction / waste management industry is desirable
- The right candidate will need to have excellent communication skills
