The Role

As Business Development Manager you will be responsible for visiting clients at their place of work to carryout site surveys of their existing commercial toilets, shower, and changing rooms. Following the initial survey and scoping meeting you will prepare detailed quotation, specification and design documents which will be presented to the customer. You will be responsible for the negotiation of the project from the initial enquiry through to the successful nomination. Net project values will range from circa £20,000 to £300,000.

This family run business specialises in the complete refurbishment of commercial toilet rooms, shower areas, and changing facilities. Due to continued expansion, an exciting opportunity exists for a Business Development Manager at their London office located in Bexley, Kent.
They are a leading washroom refurbishment specialist servicing Schools, Offices, Hospitals, and Leisure Centres. Their customers are Seniors in their own organisation, so you will feel comfortable communicating with Managing Directors, Head Masters, and Business Owners alike.

Your ability to build relaxed but professional relationships with clients at all levels will be your greatest strength to achieving and winning the business.

As a proven sales professional, you can naturally build relationships at all levels, gaining buy-in from key decision makers throughout the project proposal and sales process.

Essential Skills

- Background within sales of commercial interiors contracting projects or similar is desirable, but not essential.
- Proven ability to win business and hit regular sales targets.
- Self-motivated, hard working and ambitious.
- Good organisational and planning skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when preparing tender and design documentation.
- PC literate and strong IT skills.
- Willingness, flexibility and ability to travel to different client locations around London and the surrounding counties.

The Package

OTE : £55,000 - £60,000.
Basic Salary £35,000-40,000.
20 days holiday plus Bank holidays.
Car allowance & mileage.
