The Role - £25,000 + Bonus in relation to overall Company revenue

Business Development Executive – Working with the Sales & Marketing Director to qualify leads and help secure good quality appointments with both existing clients and prospects alike. Following through notes from client visits such as quotations, sourcing, samples etc. Developing business by supporting the Directors in following through large new opportunities as well as existing clients via the phone ensuring their spend targets are met.

Key Skills required:
- Ability to proactively call fresh prospects and book appointments with key decision makers
- Conduct proactive telephone calls and follow up quotations/opportunities effectively to turn these into orders and bring new business on board.
- Excellent computer skills and competent in all areas of MS Suite in particular MS Office Excel for customer data analysis.
- Experience working with Orderwise or a similar ERP system
- Upselling products on the phone to increase order value
- Excellent telephone etiquette
- To be a motivated, dedicated, flexible individual
- To work well as part of the team and support the team effort to achieve sales targets.
- Accountability to Directors.
- Rapport Building with clients to increase loyalty and spend
- Experience with using CRM desirable but not essential

Main Responsibilities, tasks & duties:
- Working with the Directors to book good quality appointments with both existing clients and prospects. Allocate relevant call details in salesi CRM.
- Appointment and route planning for directors field sales days
- Recording of Director visit notes in salesi and completing any actions assigned to you in a timely manner
- To ensure all customer quotations/sample requests are actioned within 24 hours. And quotations are followed up as quickly as possible.
- To work with the Directors closely on large clientele, including working on large quotation comparisons.
- Carry out telephone follow up campaigns focused on specific product promotions or new product launches as required.
- Following up customers in relation to spend reports and targets set to maximise monthly spend by promoting specific offers
- Building loyalty with existing customers through follow up and rapport building.

Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday
Holiday: 28 days inclusive of statutory bank holidays
