The team is based in central Basingstoke, in the heart of the M3 tech corridor.

Background

As a result of consistent year on year growth, they are currently expanding their sales resources. To meet their growth targets, they require an energetic and confident Business Development Executive. You will be tasked with generating new business opportunities across their product range.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced business development executive to provide support to senior professionals in generating demand and awareness of their products across their portfolio of target clients. Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the SVP Sales-Europe, the successful candidate will be responsible for achieving specific targets.
The main responsibilities of this role include:

- Create a qualified opportunity pipeline by developing new relationships and matching client needs with business capabilities.
- Work closely with the senior sales team to engage sales opportunities using a strategic and consultative approach.
- Generate qualified sales leads /opportunities and achieve all specified key performance indicators.

Competencies:

- Excellent verbal and written communication, with a creative and innovative flair.
- The ability to generate sales leads/opportunities via a proactive telesales approach.
- Able to work autonomously in-line with the achievement of specific lead generation targets and KPIs.
- Ability to develop strong internal and external working relationships.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to create high level meetings for supporting sales executives.
- The ability to create demand and awareness of the brand and services.
- High influencing skills, with a confident, proactive and methodical approach.

Experience:

- B2B based sales /customer service experience would be an advantage.
- Experience of proactive/direct client contact and exposure to a professional business environment.
- A consultative manner and an understanding of business to business service sales process/structure.
- Experience of consistently meeting targets.
- Confidence engaging with senior decision makers.
- IT and web literate.
