OTE £30,000

An opportunity has arisen for a talented Customer & business focused person to join a brand new Business Development Team within a newly opened operation for this UK leading trade only Security Products Wholesaler.

Both developing existing sales & sourcing new business, are an integral part of this exciting role. The team will mainly be focused on nurturing and growing the relatively untapped existing (lower spend) business & uncovering new potential accounts.

Good Initiative, pro activity, a keen eye for spotting business opportunities and a passion for customer excellence are key attributes of this role. Experience of the security products industry would be a big advantage, but is by no means essential as full training will be given.

Main responsibilities;

Reporting to the Business Development Manager you will be responsible for the following;

-  Actively participating in the Company’s Promotional Drives, whether they be proactive i.e. speculatively calling customers, or reactive i.e. maximising an incoming order. Completion of all relevant Paperwork
- To maintain & Increase Sales for dedicated Customer Accounts, whilst maintaining regular contact in order to build a rapport and deliver service excellence
- To develop sales of all high margin ranges, such as Exclusive Cylinders, Key Machines, Access Control & Multi Point Locking at every opportunity
- Research and compile marketing intelligence for proactive promotions
- To assist in coordinating and delivering projects / proactive marketing campaigns
- Work as part of a team in the day to day running of a sales trade counter

Personal specification:

- PC literate with experience using Microsoft office
- Confident and have a proactive attitude
- Excellent relationship building and negotiation skills
- Demonstrate confidence, enthusiasm and a determination to succeed
- Experience of working in sales and marketing is desirable, but not essential

This role is a Monday to Friday position with working hours between 8.00am and 5.00pm.
