This leading provider of research & intelligence for the early years education and childcare sector, works with a diverse client base. Their research supports the quality and sustainability of childcare settings, shapes business direction and investment and informs early education policy at national level. They are looking for an experienced Business Development Executive to drive sales of their research services.

A key driver of sales you will:

- Enjoy a real sense of ownership from identifying potential customers, securing sales, and monitoring ongoing customer satisfaction.
- Create and convert a strong sales pipeline through a range of channels such as social media, telephone, visits etc, monitoring and fine-tuning your approach to achieve set targets.
- Build strong customer relationships to embed their services, identify support needs, and spot opportunities to enhance their offering.
- Get a buzz from a rounded business development role which makes full use of your skills and experience.

You will have a:

- Proven track-record in B2B sales including evidence of achieving KPI’s and targets.
- Professional approach, able to build rapport quickly and establish strong working relationships.
- Skilled and confident user of technology, quick to learn new software, familiar with social media and proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to travel, clean driving licence and access to a car for business use.
- Knowledge of the early years sector preferable but not essential.

You will benefit from:

- A competitive basic salary in the range £25,000 to £30,000 depending on experience and track record, plus on target earnings.
- A generous holiday allowance of 30 days including England bank holidays.
- The flexibility of working from home AND feeling part of a friendly team, with open lines of communication throughout the working day.
- A 37.5 hour working week, flexible working hours to be agreed.

You will be home-based in the South of England with occasional travel.

Your role will be predominantly desk-based, with an approximate desk/travel split of 80/20. Travel will be mainly but not exclusively in the South East/London area.
