Exciting opportunity to become a consultant for a specialist Business Analysis company in Scotland.

Their growing client based in Scotland requires skilled Business Analysts (minimum 3 years’ experience) who have worked in financial services, preferably Life & Pensions.

You will be joining an existing team of Business Analysts and work with their customers to help define and shape their applications, solutions, or systems. They are looking for you to play a key part in delivering success for them and their clients.

The Consultant Role:

You will be working directly with customers, liaising with stakeholders at all levels to understand and define business requirements.

You will use your own skills and knowledge, but equally will be able to tap into the wealth of experience within the team to help you deliver for their customers. You will help translate customer's complex and challenging business problems into clearly defined solutions.

Your focus will be requirements capture, from conception through to delivery of the solution.

Every project is different; every customer is unique and every piece of work has its own set of challenges. The role requires a rounded individual who can bring a variety of skills to the role.

Key Responsibilities:

- Working with their customers from initial engagement to understand, define and capture requirements.
- Support the delivery teams to ensure successful delivery of projects.
- Presentation of requirements to key stakeholders.

Essential Requirements:

- Excellent communication skills, with proven ability to build and maintain external and internal relationships at all levels
- The ability to plan, prepare, organise and facilitate customer meetings and workshops.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to quickly get to a shared understanding with stakeholders.
- Exceptional documentation and visualisation skills, with the ability to use different techniques (e.g. use cases, business process models, workflow diagrams)
- Ability to plan and prioritise, based on the needs of the customer.

Specific requirements:

- At least 3 years proven experience in a BA role.
- Previous experience working with waterfall and agile delivery models
- Experience working on multiple projects.
- Capability to work across the central belt in Scotland.
