This minibus hire company is looking for a PSV / PCV driver to work on a permanent part time basis working for a special needs adult centre.
The work is year round at 16 hours per week.
The job would start from as soon as possible. They are very busy on the private hire side of the business too so your salary can be augmented by being available for these which are paid at a good rate.
They require you to have a Driver Licence with current Category D (or D1) Licence and no restrictions on it (no 101 in section 12. on the back of your photos are licence). To have this means you must have completed your PSV driver training and passed the necessary PSV driver tests to be able to do this job, not just have a provisional bus entitlement. A driver licence check would need to be completed. Driver CPC required to be current and valid so that you have a current Driver Qualification Card (DQC) also.
An enhanced DBS (formerly CRB) from Cornwall Council would be good to have but this can be applied for for the successful candidate.
You would be expected to work with a Passenger Assistant on board to work as a team to help deliver your passengers to and from the centre.
Any experience working with special needs children or adults, and a positive, can do attitude would be of benefit.
