Building Surveyor – Repairs and Maintenance
Grade 5+ = £21,073 - £25,463 with excellent pension scheme
Full time – 35 hours per week
Based in North Manchester
Permanent

They have a temporary vacancy within the Surveying team for a Building Surveyor on a fixed term basis. As a Building Surveyor you will be responsible for providing an effective high quality repairs service, as part of a busy team.

You will have responsibility for pre-inspection and post-inspection, monitoring of both repairs and variations to tenanted and void properties. You will be an excellent communicator who is highly organised and be able to deliver a high quality service within demanding timescales.

Within your role you will liaise with contractors to resolve any problems and ensure all work is carried out to the required standard within budget. You will provide support to New Tenancy and Neighbourhood Service teams to minimisation the void times of their properties.

You must have a full driving licence as access to a car is required on a daily basis.

The ability to record information accurately is necessary as the use of a variety of IT systems including QL will be a part for your daily administrative duties.

Experience & knowledge of domestic building maintenance and CDM regulations would be required to satisfactorily undertake this role.
