An AAT qualified and experienced individual is required to work in a small boutique accountancy practice in central Milton Keynes. The candidate should have good over all knowledge and experience in multi client bookkeeping, passing of necessary journals and preparing VAT returns using various software such as Xero, Sage Line 50, KashFlow and Quick Books. The candidate should also have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities to include:
- Bookkeeping, VAT preparation and submission
- Liaising with clients, collating records and preparing their accounts and VAT returns
- Working on multi client bookkeeping records, passing of necessary journals and reconciling the necessary Nominal/General Ledger accounts.
- Liaising with Practice Manager in relation to work allocations
- Good telephone manners for answering client calls
- PAYE, VAT. S/A registrations and agent authorisations
- General Admin duties

Full Time Position from Monday to Friday 09:00 am to 06:00 pm
Holidays: 20 day Statutory holidays plus 8 Bank holidays
