A part-time Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant to join this well established company in the Wolverhampton area. You will be responsible for the day to day running of all finance accounts duties, and reporting to the Finance Director and Office Manager.

They are looking for an experienced bookkeeper/accounts assistant who is able to join the business and hit the ground running working under minimal supervision using your initiative.

Your duties will include

- purchase ledger,
- sales ledger,
- payroll and pension,
- bank reconciliations,
- petty cash,
- credit control,
- offshore invoices,
- foreign currency reconciliation
- supplier payments,
- pre-payments, accruals and depreciation,
- VAT Returns,
- various reports,
- general office duties.

What they are looking for?

- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, you'll have experience in maintaining good relationships with customers.
- Proficiency in MS-Office – especially Excel Experience (with Formulae and VLOOKUP).
- Polite and professional telephone manner and email etiquette
- Logical, investigative mindset with a tenacity to identify and solve problems
- Excellent organisational skills and strong interpersonal skills, with a strong work ethic and sound financial understanding and commercial awareness.
- Experience with Sage 50 Accounts, Sage Payroll and SAP B1.

Their client is a well established business based in Wolverhampton with an open, hard-working and friendly culture. This business is easily accessible by public transport.

This is a part-time role working 3 days (22.5hrs) a week preferably Tues-Thurs. The working hours are 9am to 5pm with 1/2 hour for lunch. We are flexible with working hours/days.
