The Role

You will be researching and sourcing tender opportunities in line with their growth strategy, establishing the requirements of each tender opportunity by liaising with their Operations Team to assess suitability for tender and to develop strategies for answering tender questions. You will be completing Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQ), Invitation to Tender (ITT), or Expression of Interest (EOI) forms.

You will attend tender briefings and market engagement events to ensure awareness of any emphasis placed on particular aspects of the bid requirements, as well as to network with other interested parties. You will be writing and delivering presentations as part of the tendering process, discussing bid activity and progress with Directors and ensuring information is shared with the Business Development team.

The Individual

You will have a good eye for detail with excellent written skills and can use IT portals to identify tender opportunities and submit tenders. You will work well under pressure, often managing multiple bidding opportunities simultaneously.

Proof reading skills to identify strengths and weaknesses within a bid are essential along with experience of collating information and presenting it following tender guidelines. You will integrate seamlessly within the Business Development team to ensure that all bids meet the brief, are innovative and are completed within the agreed timescales.

You will have proven experience in bid writing, with preference given to candidates who can demonstrate success in tendering for ESFA, DWP, LEP, Local Authority, NHS, Apprenticeship Levy and commercial contracts.
