Long established mechanical and electrical engineering company has grown, and due to this expansion, they are looking for a Bid Writer to join the Team.
You will be responsible for sourcing, collating and writing gas, electrical and facilities maintenance tenders, especially within the social housing and public sector, whilst raising the company’s profile via exceptional quality tender submissions and Pre-Qualification Questionnaires.
You will have exceptional commercial writing skills, displaying creative flair, and ensuring high standards of accuracy and document control against agreed deadlines are met.
About you:
- A track record of bid writing
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Good standard and level of education
- People skills to develop relationships
- Ability to identify bid opportunities and put together successful tenders
- Knowledge of database document control, spreadsheet and internet
reporting.
- Compliance/ M&E industry and/ or social housing experience would be an advantage
