This is an exciting opportunity to join an award-winning design and development agency that creates immersive experiences for Phone, TV, Watch and Web.

A new position within their company has been created, and they are looking for a super-bright Bid Writer to join their team.

The Bid Writer will work under their own supervision and in close collaboration with the Business Development and Marketing team and progress as far as they want to, within their growing business.

Your role will consist of researching, preparing and writing effective bids/tenders. This is a full time permanent position.

You will have a minimum of 12 months experience in your field and a proven track record.

Preferred:

- Experience of the digital industry and of apps in particular.
- Experience of the government sector and its specific requirements.

Requirements:

Role responsibilities:

- Researching potential opportunities and the companies/institutions involved.
- Gathering the information and evidences required to put together a successful bid or tender.
- Checking the guidelines for the bid/tender to ensure compliance.
- Advising the business on tendering/bidding best practices and strategies.
- Presenting technical information in a straightforward way which is professional, accurate and easily understood.
- Designing, writing, editing and checking bid documents.
- Keeping immaculate records, diarising for relevant due dates and building up a library of data and content for repeated use as necessary.
- Submitting effective bids/tenders.
- Supporting the business development and marketing team at pitch stage if required.

Personal Qualities:
- Great command of written and spoken English.
- Excellent research, writing and checking skills, with scrupulous attention to detail.
- Robust organisational and time management skills.
- Confident and knowledgeable.
- Engaging, and motivated to work as an integral part of a team, in a creative environment.
