They are seeking a Bid Manager to join their busy team based in Newmarket, Suffolk. The Bid Manager is responsible for the smooth management of the entire bid process ensuring the co-ordination of all parties involved in the process.
Key responsibilities:
- To manage the bid qualification (bid or no bid) process for new opportunities.
- Management of all aspects of the bid process to ensure deadlines are met.
- Ensure bid/contracts team work to set deadlines.
- The checking of all tender samples prior to being sent for evaluation.
- Producing consistent high quality written work within deadlines
- Proofing documents to final copy
- Ensuring the quality and integrity of both the content and present of the bid documentation
The ideal candidate will have:
- Prior experience of developing tenders
- Experience in planning and delivery of proposals
- An understanding of the life cycle of Tenders
- Clinical knowledge and/or experience of working in the medical supplies industry (desirable)
- Excellent organisation skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is imperative
- A relevant degree
