This is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy office environment with the existing team and experience all aspects of a construction office and project management. This company specialises in the supply and fixing of pre-stressed concrete flooring and concrete stairs.
You will learn how to work from client specifications to provide quotations and then produce designs for manufacture and installation.
Once the quotation has been accepted you will order materials from existing suppliers, arrange delivery of materials to site and oversee the project administration up to completion.
The role will require you to communicate over the telephone and via email with clients, update databases, produce quotations and create designs based on client’s specifications. All aspects of the role will be supervised and full training will be provided to the successful candidate. Knowledge of computers is essential and AutoCAD experience and knowledge of construction would be an advantage.
The use of a computer programme specifically for designing the pre-stressed floors and stairs will be a large part of your daily work.
Skill Required:
- Computer literate
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Must be able to multi task, have the ability to prioritise and be able to work to tight deadlines
- Construction knowledge would be an advantage
