This is an opportunity to join a Bespoke Audio Visual installation company established in 2005. They are looking for an Electrician /Audio Visual Service Engineer to join their team working from their Guildford Office. This is a field engineering role (van provided) mainly in the South East of England with the occasional requirement to travel further afield. The role mainly consists of planned maintenance visits with some service call outs and installation work.
The successful candidate must be driven by providing clients with an exceptional level of service, will be an excellent communicator and have the ability and willingness to learn new technologies.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Carrying out periodic inspections of electrical systems
- Functional testing of AV equipment
- Attending electrical and AV service call outs – fault finding and resolution
- When necessary, assisting in the professional and efficient installation of AV and lighting as well as architectural lighting, into schools, colleges, theatres.
Skills & Experience:
- Industry recognised level 3 electrical qualification – 2 Years min experience.
- City and Guilds 2391 preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work to the highest quality standards with excellent attention to detail
-A flexible approach to work, along with the ability to work proactively and efficiently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and customer service skills
- CSCS Card / PAMSA / IPAF (preferable but not essential)
- Must hold full UK Clean driving licence and be over the Age of 25
- MUST be able to Pass and Enhanced CRB check
Pension, Bonus, Tools, Full ongoing Training, Company Van and Great Holiday allowance.
Salary: £28,000.00 to £32,000.00
On site engineer working in London and the South East.
