An assistant webcast manager is required to join one of the leading suppliers of streaming media services in the UK. They pride themselves on their relationships with clients and that is why many of them have been clients for many years. They believe in being open, friendly, honest and fair to both their clients and their staff.
For staff, this means an informal but highly professional atmosphere in a new Central London office space, delivering great quality service to their clients while having a considerable amount of fun.

This position would suit an individual looking to develop a role in a growing and dynamic agency. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager and working as part of the webcasting and project team, the successful candidate will be an ‘organised juggler’. They will manage client webcasts, provide project management admin support and ultimately be responsible for successful webcast delivery while being a key member of a dynamic, committed team.

You will most likely love tech, but be a 'people' person with a professional, pro-active 'can do' attitude. You will love working in a team and enjoy the thrill of live events. You will have an excellent phone manner, good verbal and written communication skills and appreciate what it means to be punctual.

This role’s responsibilities include:

- Taking responsibility for the delivery of projects throughout their life and handing back to the account team post project.
- Managing the internal personnel and external supplier resourcing for projects.
- Being responsible for the project documentation, using project management tools and shared resources.
- Ensuring all projects are delivered to scope, and where scope drifts communicating back to the account team.
- Basic webcast definition – including streams required for event
- Performing on-site and telephone bandwidth and streaming capability recces
- Configuration and testing of webcast pages
- In-house setup and configuration of webcast equipment to be taken on-site
- Live and on-demand testing of webcast equipment, streams and pages
- Co-ordination and delivery of live webcasts to include managing encoders, audio and video feeds, slide synchronisation, Q&A moderation and polls
- In house monitoring of rehearsals and live events

The ideal candidate will

- Have worked for 2+ years as a webcast engineer, webcast manager, production manager or project manager.
- Have an understanding of online video and how it works.
- Have a basic understanding of video production.
- Be able to effectively manage their own time and priorities.
- Be proactive and work together with management to achieve and exceed expectations

You must already be able to work in the UK. This position is based close to Old Street station with occasional UK and international travel and some unsociable hours working as is the nature of supporting international brands and live events.
