The role of Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be based in Crawley and work with a geographically diverse and growing commercial department.
The ideal candidate will have at least 18 months experience within a Construction industry related company and able to demonstrate experience of meeting with clients, production of key financial information ensuring tight cost control and value maximisation.
Other key responsibilities include assisting with monthly valuations, review of contracts, liaising with the sites to collect and compile necessary information, dealing with additional works, valuations and variations to the clients, dealing with interim certificates/payments, monthly project cash flow reports, assist with preparation of cost forecast sheets, updating budgets and actual costs, providing accurate costing information for use within the cost value
Reconciliation process, assist in the compiling of subcontract orders along with the appointment and management of subcontractor valuations, manage retention payments and assist when required with information for new tenders.
If you are a highly organised, numerate, hardworking and motivated individual with a willingness to learn and have a relevant degree, HND or equivalent in a suitably related subject or significant proven relevant experience specifically relating to the role (substantiated by references) and a clean driving license then please apply.
