Due to growth, they have an exciting opportunity for a Trainer Assessor specialising in Passenger-Carrying Vehicles (PCV) to deliver the full apprenticeship framework in PCV.

This is a full time role (although part-time hours would be considered for the right candidate), and will include travel within the East Midlands. Enhanced DBS clearance is also required.

The Role

You will be working with local employers to guide and support learners’ performance and knowledge throughout their training in PCV. You will be responsible for delivering training and undertaking assessments, whilst continuously striving to build, maintain and improve relationships with both learners and employers.

The Individual

They really value your industry knowledge and experience of PCV, so although holding a relevant assessor or verifier qualification would be great, if you are a competent and experienced bus driver they want to hear from you. Full training and support will be provided if you have a real passion for sharing your knowledge and developing others.

You will be an effective communicator, able to successfully engage both employers and learners alike, with great customer service skills. An excellent planner, you will be able to manage your time effectively as well as conflicting priorities. You will have the ability to coach, develop and mentor people, proven experience of delivering training and assessing learners would be a distinct advantage, but is not essential.
