This is an opportunity to join an independent Apprenticeship and Training Provider who support both the employed and the unemployed with their vocational training and development. They have a deep set belief that their people are their brand and with this in mind they put their employees and learners at the heart of everything they do. They are proud of their reputation and ensure they have the right staff working hard to maintain it.

They currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Health and Social Care Assessor (with the ability to IQA) to join their friendly delivery team, currently a group of 8. This role will allow you to draw upon and use your own previous management experience in the Health and Social Care sector, to assess learners in their work place providing them with teaching & learning and support. Using various technologies and strategies to gather the relevant evidence to meet the requirement of the awarding bodies and other external auditors such as the SFA/Ofsted.

During your assessing you will be working mainly with level 5 learners, as any experienced assessor will know Level 5 learners are often very busy with the responsibilities of their role and so they are looking with someone who has the ability to build a strong relationship with the learner (and the employer where the learner is not the employer). There may also be elements of internal quality assurance so they would to recruit an experienced assessor who also has the relevant qualification for this. Their learners and their progression really matter to them, so they are looking forward to hearing about assessing/teaching styles that you have used previously and your key learner engagement strategies that have shown to work best for you in the past.

As well as a competitive salary they also provide a mileage allowance to cover your travel costs (must have a full licence and access to a vehicle) as you will be covering East/West Midlands. They also have a commitment to the support and development of their employees. They are currently providing their Assessors the opportunity to gain a level 5 teaching qualification so that they are ready and prepared for the upcoming transition to standards. This is training that could also be offered to you if needed. This role can be based from home or from their Birmingham office either way they offer flexibility to suit a variety of circumstances.

If this sounds like the kind of organisation you would like to be working with then they would like to hear from you. Let’s chat…
