Situated a few miles north of the Cambridge Science Park, this company has vacancies for Assembly/Production Operatives in its Cable Assembly/Sub-contract division based at Waterbeach.
The duties include the crimping, soldering and assembling of cabling systems, panels, enclosures and sub-systems. This involves the use of manual and semi-automated soldering and crimping tools. Previous experience working in a production environment handling small parts is highly desirable.
The company is ISO 9001: 2015 qualified; a full continual training programme is implemented to ensure Operatives gain the ongoing skills required to meet the quality objectives of the business.
Working hours are 37.5 hours per week:
Monday – Thursday 8.15 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
Friday - 8.15 a.m. to 12.45 p.m.
