This leading manufacturer of engineered wood materials has an exciting opportunity for an Area Sales Manager to cover the South East. You will be part of a growing team reporting monthly to the head office which is based in Macclesfield, Cheshire.
They are a Europe-wide leading manufacturer of wood-based panels, with an established presence in the UK since 1973. They are responsible for and operate in all regions of the United Kingdom as well as the Republic of Ireland. Their core customer target group is the value-added decorative products sectors where they enjoy significant business in the mid to upper laminate worktop sector as market leader, with their quality brand of worktops.
They also have an established national distribution network throughout the UK and Ireland for both their worktop collection, and their melamine faced chipboard, matching hpl and mfmdf collection.
As well as being major suppliers to the distribution sector, they are also direct suppliers to many of the largest kitchen, office, and decorative furniture component manufacturers in addition to larger HPL laminate fabricators in their market.
Due to their increasing business within the UK and Ireland wood-based panels sector, they are now looking to appoint an experienced sales professional to further develop their presence in the South East region. This position will both support and develop their existing distribution and industrial business, whilst actively sourcing and developing new sales opportunities within their targeted product and customer sector.
The position reports to the UK General Sales Manager.

- Proven track record of successful sales development and customer support
- Ability to plan and manage the area
- Ability to further develop and support new and existing customers in line with the strategic targets set by the UK Managing Director
