External Sales Manager North West region UK
Package: £27 - 37K (OTE £45K Depending on experience)

A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen, to join an established Global cable manufacturer with a new presence in the UK. A highly motivated, self-driven and enthusiastic person required to demonstrate effective territory planning initiative. This role would suit a hungry person with the right attributes to work closely with the Managing Director, to learn and understand the role.
- Promoting all their products directly to the full spectrum of the Electrical industry: - Engineers, OEM, Wholesale.
- Covering the whole of the North West region of the UK, they are looking for the right candidate ideally around Merseyside/Cheshire area but would consider other areas. Their company statement is, "Success through Quality and Innovation" so the merits of their products and the right product for the application is the primary goal for achievement.
- Working directly with the Managing Director and Internal sales staff.
- Implementation and achievement of agreed targets for the UK division. Helping with specification, increasing the customer base whilst maintaining existing customers.
- CRM maintenance
- Monthly business unit reviews
- Monthly sales engineer reviews
Requirements
- Some experience as a Area Sales Manager in the Electrical Industry (industrial sales also considered) is advantageous but we are willing to work with the right candidate to train and enhance their skill set.
- Preferred but not essential ONC qualification or above in electrical engineering or similar instrumentation / controls qualification
- Full UK Driving Licence - Based in the North West, required at Ellesmere Port office once a week (minimum). Possibility of occasional European travel.
- Knowledge in cables, electrical control & industry automation products - PLC's, variable speed drives, sensors, IO systems, instrumentation, automation or similar. This would be advantageous but not essential.
