The company is entering an exciting period of growth, we are now on a journey to deliver ambitious new plans and have a great opportunity for an experienced Area/Centre Manager to join the family. The successful candidate will be managing all aspects of operational delivery, with extensive travel within the Midlands region and occasional overnight stay, therefore a driving licence and access to a car is essential.

The Role

You will have overall accountability for all elements of managing the performance against a set of agreed objectives and budget with the autonomy to make decisions for the improvement of the Midlands region, effectively managing a team to achieve agreed levels of quality outcomes. You will have accountability for both the cost effective delivery of programmes and the cost management of the delivery teams.

The Individual

You will be an experienced people manager, able to positively motivate, challenge and stretch teams of tutors, learner engagement and support staff across a diverse range of occupations. You will have excellent organisational and administrative skills, coupled with proven ability to work positively and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. You will be solutions focused with knowledge and experience of having worked on government-funded contracts, ideally Skills Funding Agency, European Social Fund or Department for Work and Pensions.
