This group of Dental Practices in Kent is seeking an experienced Area Manager to take responsibility for managing and growing their existing practice operations as well as taking responsibility for managing further practices as they are acquired.

They currently have two dental practices, located in Sevenoaks and Ashford in Kent. They intend to grow the business by acquiring further practices in future. This represents an exciting ground floor opportunity to join a growth oriented business at an early stage.

The role would suit an experienced Area Manager seeking a new opportunity in a growing company. They require a good people manager who has the ability to gain trust and confidence from patients and colleagues.

You will initially take direct responsibility for practice management at their Sevenoaks practice and for managing and coaching their existing practice manager at their Ashford practice. You will be expected to work closely with their Treatment Sales Manager to drive sales of treatments across the group.

Once the operations of their two existing practices are settled down, we intend to expand by acquiring additional practices in the South East. As new practices are acquired, you will be expected to recruit and/or train a new practice managers so that you can take on responsibility for additional practices as they are acquired, while continuing oversight of the existing practices.

It is envisaged that the responsibilities associated with the role will grow over time and so progression opportunities exist for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate will possess:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience of practice and area management of dental practices
- A high level of IT literacy and familiarity with dental practice management systems
- People Management skills, acquired by managing a team of staff
- A results driven orientation
- An understanding of the Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss account
- The ability to build positive relationships and face difficult conversations when required
- Proven planning & organisation skills
- The ability to work to targets

Given the demands and requirements of the role, the successful candidate will need to be flexible regarding their working location on a day to day basis. It is essential that candidates possess their own reliable and presentable vehicle and are prepared to use it on company business.
