East Anglia’s fastest growing management training provider is currently looking to recruit an Apprenticeship Assessor/Trainer, to join their ambitious team based in Melton, Suffolk.

They would like their successful candidate to support the planning and implementation of a range of Level 3 and 5 apprenticeship programmes and to live and breathe their values, helping to change their delegate lives.

The role is office based as they like to enthuse a team environment, however there is a degree of flexible working that coincides with the nature of the role, including some local and occasional national travel.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Delivering information, advice and guidance workshops
- Checking eligibility and suitability of training programmes
- Completing all funding and quality sign up paperwork
- Maintaining delegate training accounts on online systems and planning/allocating work along the delegate’s journey
- Supporting delegates, collating evidence relevant to their qualification
- Preparing delegates for End Point Assessment
- Carrying out delegate and employer reviews
- Completing tutorials
- Support delivery of training workshops relating to apprenticeship programmes
- Marking of assignments, as allocated, meeting cohort deadlines
- Promoting best practice within design/delivery of apprenticeship programmes, developing support aids for delegates and employers
- Delivering in-line with organisational and Ofsted quality assurances including teaching and learning
- Supporting the administration of the apprenticeship programmes including preparation of delegate portfolios

Skills and experience required:

Essential
- Experience of working in a supervisory/management role
- Hold or prepared to study towards a relevant assessor qualification
- A clean driving license and access to your own car
- Maths and English Functional Skills at Level 2 or equivalent

Desirable
- Experience of assessing Leadership and Management qualifications at Level 3 and above. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience of assessing at Level 5
- Experience of assessing other qualifications including Customer Service, Business Admin and Project Management
- Experience of designing and delivering training workshops to support apprenticeship programmes would also be helpful, however this is not essential
- PTLLS qualification or equivalent
