They are currently seeking an Application Support Technician for their Helpdesk based in Towcester.
The IT Application Support Technician provides technical support for automated material handling software systems and equipment in warehouses and distribution centres using an array of technical tools to perform complex troubleshooting and problem solving.
As the 1st line support, you will be utilising their ticketing system. You will be identifying and resolving issues with Warehouse Management Systems and Material flow systems.
You will be responsible for first line support to their customers and assisting the Engineering teams on sites across the UK.
Within this role, you will also be creating documentation, reports and analysing reports.
To be successful in your application, you will have some previous experience of WMS and WFS, you will have knowledge of SQL databases and have a degree in computer science.
Experience with Java is desirable but not essential, you will be a proficient communicator and have the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
