Due to another exceptional year we are looking for an ambitious, highly motivated Agile Business Systems Analyst to work within their team. As Business Systems Analyst you will be responsible for leading the analysis and functional design of solutions for a fast growing software company, whose products hold a leading position within their sector.
They have several exciting projects in the pipeline, including migration from Classic ASP applications to .NET based solutions using latest technologies as well as new product development opportunities.
An exceptional team player, you will be comfortable working under your own supervision or as part of a wider team on large projects. You will have strong analysis skills and be comfortable spanning the boundary between business and technical teams. As the main Business Systems Analyst in the organisation, this is a key role with significant responsibility and opportunity to grow.
Required Skills / Experience
- Extensive experience of working with internal and external stakeholders to elicit high level business needs and document business requirements for new solutions and system enhancements
- Strong understanding of requirements management techniques in an agile environment – e.g. user stories, product backlogs, acceptance criteria etc
- Excellent ability to model system behaviours and create design specifications to document current and future system behaviours
- Experience of assuring test specifications to ensure complete coverage across system requirements and design
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work closely with architects, developers and business stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience of working with senior stakeholders and communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences
