This company is Europe’s foremost Transport publisher, producing market-leading magazines within all sectors of aviation, rail, bus and modelling publications such as FlyPast, Airliner World, Modern Railways and Hornby magazine, they are renowned around the globe for their wide range of magazines and media.
They are seeking an Ad Production Controller/Designer to work in their Ad Production team. You will be responsible for producing magazines, advertisements, online advertisements and associated products and services to the highest quality.
Key Accountabilities:
- Processing prepayments before magazines have gone to press
- Making sure all order confirmations are confirmed by copy deadline
- Completing the flatplan making sure all adverts are placed correctly
- Ensuring all advert copy is in for each deadline of all magazines
- Ensuring that all advert copy is the correct size, format and pre-flight checked
- Exceptional creativity and innovation
- Maintaining strong customer relationships by providing a high level of service and meeting their needs
Skills & Experience:
- GCSE A-C (or equivalent) English & Maths
- Previous experience of Media/print and/or advert design
- MS Office skills
- Adobe Suite including Photoshop, Indesign & Illustrator
- Ability to work to clear schedules to achieve deadlines
- Ability to react quickly in an ever-changing and demanding environment
- Good communication and time management skills
- Excellent use of written and verbal English
