The Opportunity

To work within a fast-growing financial planning firm which provides financial advice to high net worth clients on pensions, investments, insurance and tax planning. Being a relatively small and growing team, your contribution will be highly valued in helping to shape the future of the business.

They envisage that for the right candidate that there will be great opportunities to grow their career within the business. There will be the opportunity to complete professional qualifications with the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) and, after mastery of the administration role, to progress towards the role of Trainee Paraplanner.

Main Responsibilities & Duties

Alongside the usual office administration tasks, you will be required to assist and take ownership for the following business processes:

- Obtaining and collating existing plan information from clients various providers
- Creating pre-sales new business illustrations for pensions and investments
- Preparing meeting documentation for advisers to use with clients
- Submitting cases to compliance for approval to proceed
- Creating and issuing application packs to clients and ensuring the safe and timely return
- Submitting completed applications to providers
- Liaising with the new and ceding plan administrators to ensure timely completion of business
- Keeping the client informed throughout the advice process
- Ensuring advice fees are recorded and submitted for timely payment
- Deal with any on-going client servicing requests as required
- Preparation of documents for client reviews
- Accurate and timely maintenance of the client record and documents on CRM database

Working hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, with 30 minutes for lunch. The position is based from our Brighton office located opposite to Preston Park.

The Package

- Basic salary of £19,000 to £23,000 per annum, depending on experience
- Discretionary quarterly bonus scheme
- 3% employer pension contributions
- Death in service benefit equivalent to four times annual salary
- 24 days paid holiday, plus your birthday and bank holidays

Applicant Requirements

- Educated to degree level, or strong A-Levels
- Strong verbal and numerical skills
- At least two year’s office experience within a professional organisation
- Previous experience within financial services a distinct advantage
- Desire to pursue a career in financial services and complete professional qualifications
