This well established mortgage broker is looking to recruit an Administrator to join the team.

The role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the relationship of our numerous clients as they proceed through their house buying or re-mortgage journey.

They will look to you to proactively manage a pipeline of numerous applications, providing updates and an excellent customer experience every step of the way.

You’ll contribute to its success, as well as learning new skills from an awesome team of people. As an early member of their customer success team, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to progress and define your own role and specialism as the team grows.

You will:
- Manage a personal caseload of mortgage and insurance applications, ensuring they progress to completion accurately, efficiently, and to the correct standards
- Comply at all times with the firm’s Compliance; Training & Competence; Complaints and Data Security policies / procedures.
- Work collaboratively with mortgage advisers to enable the most positive outcome for clients
- To deal with telephone and email enquiries and arrange meetings / book appointments
- Create and maintain filing systems / client files and their CRM system
- Responsible for the maintenance of client files in strict order ensuring they are full compliant at all times to regulatory requirements including final completion and scanning as per procedures
- Liaising with product providers – mortgage and insurance / solicitors / GP’s/ valuers as and when necessary to progress applications and urgently updating advisers
- Checking and issuing mortgage offers and Terms of Acceptance before issuing to clients
- Regularly updating clients
- Assisting with creation of management reports
- Manage, organise and update relevant data
- Capture feedback (good and bad) so that they keep improving their service as they grow
- Suggest ways to deliver an even better user experience

You’ll be a crucial part of the team because:

You may have previous case administration or mortgage experience. You should also be able to demonstrate an ability or willingness to handle high levels of uncertainty and prove why you’re bringing something extraordinary to their growing team. You’ll have the following traits:
- You have excellent communication skills
- You have the ability to prioritise and work to deadlines with high levels of autonomy
- A passion for helping customers and an eagerness to learn new things is essential!
- You are a strong self-motivator with a keen eye for detail
- A level head under pressure and a great sense of humour is required. They are a small team doing very big things, and that means moving (uncomfortably) fast sometimes!
