A Part-Time Administrator is required to join a family owned business that specialises in Truck Mounted Platforms, supplies the full range of scissor lifts along with an extensive range of self-propelled booms all of which are carefully chosen in order to give their clients the most appropriate machine to meet their needs.

Purpose of the role;

Whilst operating as part of the Hire Desk Department the post holder will process all requests relating to Traffic Management and be responsible for ensuring that all permits required by the Company and Customers are requested, processed and invoiced for in an accurate and timely manner.

Also provide Administrative support to the Hire Desk Team.

Due to location car owner driver is essential

Key Tasks - Please note that full training will be given

- Ensure that all aspects of Traffic Management are dealt with in line with UK regulations
- Liaise with governing bodies such as TFL, Local Authorities, London Boroughs, County Councils, Police and Environmental Offices
- Ensure that all permits such as Pavement Licenses, Parking Bay suspensions (car, bus, electric car, cycle,
diplomatic and residents) are applied for in a timely and accurate manner monitoring requests
- Process all permit charges to customers whenever possible
- Manage the production of traffic management drawings such as Ordinance survey, Chapter 8, Contraflows and maintain a stock map and plan data base
- Liaise with site surveyors to compile all the relevant information to be able to produce accurate drawings, plans and make the correct permit applications as required
- Complete applications online, via email, phone and by post
