This leading independent Tour Operator specialising in sailing holidays in the Mediterranean and Caribbean, is looking for an enthusiastic Administrator and Sales Consultant to join their small, friendly office based in a beautiful converted mill in Edenbridge High Street. This job is a permanent position for the right candidate.
This is a single opening for a dual role, as from April to September you will be working in the customer care team, dealing with client’s holiday packs, queries, booking forms and invoices. From October to March you will be working in the sales team converting enquiries into bookings for tailor-made sailing holidays. Previous experience in a customer care role and sales experience within the travel industry is preferred but not essential. If you have been sailing you will have a head-start in understanding and selling their holidays but full training in their specialist sailing holidays will be given.
The role includes:
- dealing with administrative tasks
- responding to enquiries which come in by telephone, website or email.
- ensuring enquires are responded within 24 hours,
- going the extra mile to offer the best service and choice to clients,
- converting the initial enquiry into confirmed bookings,
- maintaining and actively chasing leads,
- booking yacht charters, flights and transfers,
- Preparing booking confirmation and travel packs for clients
- Taking payments for bookings
